Petit Tool was founded in 1963 as a traditional tool and die machine shop catering to the needs of the stamping industry. Early on we became involved with seamless gutters when a local contractor approached us about designing and manufacturing a better gutter hanger. The Vampire hanger was the result. Since then, we have brought to market dozens of innovative gutter accessories: round outlets, the Petit Punch, gutter wedges, hidden hangers, gutter guard, etc. Our specialty has always been designing and building a better product.
The machine shop side of Petit Tool is still going strong. We have a true state of the art capability with both CNC and traditional machinery set in a modern 31,500 sq. ft. facility. Besides the gutter products you see in our catalog, we make a variety of specialty hand tools, custom build machinery for the textile industry, stamp parts for airplane seats and sail boats, and machine components for Navy radar sets. We are equipped and manned to take on whatever challenge the future may hold, whether it be rainware or anywhere.
